The Long Hill Board of Education will have four (4) vacancies in the November 5, 2024 annual School Election. Three vacancies will be for a school board term of three (3) years. One vacancy will be for a one (1) year school board term.

A candidate must file a nominating petition with the county clerk for their name to appear on the ballot during the November Annual School Election. The deadline to submit the nominating petition is 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024. The election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

The School Board Candidate Kit includes information about nominating petitions, legal qualifications for school board candidacy, and the role of the school board member. Important dates in the school election process are also included.
